Listening

There are a ton of good podcasts out there and if you haven't begun exploring them, it might be time! I have them playing while I'm driving, doing chores, yadda yadda. Keeps my brains occupied and I can cram in some info - maybe even be inspired! Here are a few that I love and recommend:

The One You Feed

The One You Feed is a podcast that focuses on modern day expression of an old parable that discusses the battle of two wolves that reside within us.
The host, Eric Zimmer, has on guests, of all different backgrounds, to discuss tools that can help along life's path. Like the old saying,
"where your focus goes, your energy flows".

Creative Pep Talk

With Andy J. Pizza! It's silly, it's fun, it's inspirational, it's real. Andy is genuine and earnest in his passion for bringing tools for thinking outside the box for your business. While he focuses on creative-focused businesses, so much of what he talks about can be related to anyone. He also talks a lot about living/working/coping with ADHD, and even looking it at it like a superpower. I LOVE that perspective!

Heroine: Women’s Creative Leadership, Confidence, Wisdom

This is an awesome podcast in which female leaders share their stories and go deep. This podcast shines a light on the gender gap that still exists and works to provide real world examples and tools. This podcasts interestingly focuses specifically where the art and scientific industries intersect....

Self-Care

Get your tea on!

Relax and hydrate yourself while also lowering your risk for heart disease, boosting your memory, and possibly even strengthening your teeth! And who isn't comforted by a warm cuppa? It's one of my favorite simple self-care tools.

Celebration Herbals Thyme Tea

Super into Thyme Tea right now, and this is a really good one. Thyme tea is a great healer and antioxidant. I've been adding it to my routine for overall pain management and I am liking it so far! I like it both in combination with Chamomile and with Rose tea - or all three!

Traditional Medicinals Chamomile

Chamomile has been a part of my nighttime self-care routine for years. Not only does it help calm, it can be a great anti-inflammatory and sleep-aide. I like to brew it up STRONG. Put 4-5 teabags into a two-cup pot and let it steep for about a half hour. It becomes a great medicine at that point. Not to mention yummy!

Guayaki Organic Yerba Mate

I am one of those folks who is very sensitive to caffeine, but I definitely need some in the morning to get going! Guayaki brand Yerba Mate is my favorite way to get that boost! Not to mention, it's locally (to me) made in Sebastopol, CA :D It's great both hot or iced and/or infused with all sorts of fun flavors. Give it a try!
